NYT Op Ed: Sex, Lies and Photoshop

This Op Ed called Sex, Lies and Photoshop is pretty interesting. Good to know EVERY SINGLE photo in any sort of media (magazine, billboard, etc.) has, without a doubt, been retouched, usually at least two dozen times. And even better to know... that supermodel on the cover of your latest magazine? Yeah, that would be several bits of supermodel digitally glued together to make an uber-model. Twisted. NYT asks if magazines should let readers know if images have been retouched.

Le Labo launches Oud 27 this March 27th

We sort of sat on our Colette newsletter for a while but, among other interesting beauty news they've got going on this month, Le Labo, the cult new york perfume company, is launching their latest scent at Colette on the 27th of March.

It's called Oud 27 and features notes of Atlas cedar, incense, Patchouli and Saffron. Heady.

It's the first global scent they've launched since the brand began. Musc 25 was launched exclusively in LA back in December and Gaiac 10 in Tokyo in '08 as well.
