NY Fashion Week round up: Anna Sui

Love Anna Sui... smudgy eyes (especially underneath... another big trend this year) and opalescent orange-red lips and a nice coral flush on the cheeks. Straight, vibrantly coloured hair. I like the center parting on most of the models and, one does have to admit, that this is an amazing picture of Agnes. I usually find her very normal looking but she's quite interesting in this shot.

NY Fashion Week round up: Carolina Herrera

Hair slicked back, but gently so... natural make up and dewy skin as usual. There's a touch of coral as well in the cheeks and on the lips, although it's a deeper, more muted shade of it. Eyes have minimal make up. Just a touch of eyeshadow and one quick coat of mascara.

NY Fashion Week round up: Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de la Renta did cloudy, edwardian hair with dewy skin, subtly smokey eyes and natural lips. Very sweet. The hair looks a bit like the Luella S/S 09 show but the make up definitely doesn't. This is one of my favourite hair trends of the past year or so. Can be worn on regular non-runway folk if you just take a bit of the volume out. Oh, and the eye make up on the girls seems to match their hair colour a bit, no?
