Estee Lauder now owns Ojon haircare

To add to their ever-expanding list of brands, Estee Lauder recently bought out Canadian haircare (and Sephora best-seller) company, Ojon.

Other brands owned by Estee Lauder are:

L'Oreal brands include:
Kerastase, Matrix, Redken, Garnier, Maybelline, SoftSheen, Kiehl's, Shu Uemura, Ralph Lauren, Vichy, Helena Rubenstein, Giorgio Armani, Cacharel, The Body Shop, Biotherm, Dermablend, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Ombrelle

Proctor and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson, Colgate Palmolive, Clorox and Unilever own:
SK-II, Secret, Max Factor, Cover Girl, Clairol, Elizabeth Arden (Unilever), Suave, Dove, Salon Selectives, Sunsilk, Pond's, Aveeno, Clean and Clear, Neutrogenam Purpose, Rembrandt,RoC, Tom's of Maine, Burt's Bees, Pantene, Vaseline, Timotei, Piz Buin, DDF

LVMH own:
Guerlain, Benefit Cosmetics, Fresh, Makeup Forever, Sephora

Now, this isn't to say that you need to be super skeptical simply because only a handful of companies own 99% off the beauty products you see on shelves. But always read the labels and just be knowledgeable about where your products come from. Kiss and Makeup did a similar list in August. Ours is by no means complete, but there are a few additions, like Tom's of Maine, Burt's Bees and Ojon, we're sure come as a bit of a suprise.
