If you don't make it to the industrial shopping centres of America that often, then you might not be familiar with Target. It's amazing. I'll admit it. For all my socialist tendencies, I love this temple to capitalism. And the beauty section is brilliant, now more so than ever? Why's that? Because they've been stocking up on British brands hardcore over the last year. They started with The Sanctuary and now stock Pixi Beauty, Jemma Kidd, Rimmel, Boots and Soap & Glory.
And they seem to be stocking quite a few L'Oreal and Estee Lauder brands too, like Origins, Kiehl's and Bumble & bumble. Going British and high-end, which brings to mind another beauty chain, which has recently picked up Jemma Kidd as a brand: Space NK (which happens to stock Kiehl's, Bumble & bumble too and is about to pick up the Target brand, Sonia Kashuk).
Target is also the first mainstream American store to stock Elnett hairspray, formerly unavailable anywhere but Rickys in NYC for a hefty price of $25, almost double the Target price tag.
