WHO 

BEAUTYWOOME.COM is published by Jessica Teas, a beauty journo-cum-entrepreneur and creative director. She launched it after getting hitched and parting ways with the London start-up she co-founded, www.cultbeauty.co.uk.

WHAT 

IT'S A WHITE SPACE FOR BEAUTY. Beauty's ubiquity makes it ripe for a curator to piece together a collection of news, reviews, images, opinions and what not to cut through the white nosie and present you with something meaningful.

IT'S A BEAUTY BLOG. We like to think of ourselves as a new type of beauty blog, like a gallery space for words and images instead of a continuous log, covering only a cross section of all the beauty out there.

IT'S NOT ADVERTORIAL. No one pays to have glowing features on Beauty Woo Me. We, like every other journalist, personality, celebrity and, yes, blogger, out there, receive items and treatments GRATIS to review.

However, you'll find nothing but honest editorial here -- both positive and negative. If we ever work with brands directly, all such posts or features will be labeled in big, honking type to let you know. End of story.

The original blog launched in 2007 @ www.cult-beauty.blogspot.com, where it had more than half a million page views and an audience of over 30,000 readers monthly before launching Beautywoome.com in May 2009, when they became one.
